Access provides residential and community-based services to individuals who have developmental disabilities, mental illness, and other related conditions. We support each person's right to lead a dignified independent life. All services provided by Access are focused on this important commitment.

Access also offers a number of special activities and programs to enhance the lives of our clients. Some of them include:
- Camping Connections: Interested in enrolling your family member in a camping experience? Our case coordinators will help you find the perfect fit from a number of camps in the Minnesota - North Dakota area that cater specifically to adults who have special needs.
- Vacation Plans for Adult Clients: Want your adult family member to have a special vacation experience? Our case coordinators can organize vacation plans - from transportation to hotel reservations, whatever fits your loved one's needs. An Access staff member can also be available to accompany clients on their trip, if requested.
- Access Angels: Our female adult clients soar as Access Angels! Access Angels is a social group for the women, run by the women. They choose the activities they wish to be involved with as a group. Some of the activities have included pizza and bingo, bowling, and attending concerts.
- Special Olympics: Our staff encourages clients to participate in local Special Olympics activities. Case coordinators will help your family register to participate and insure they have the opportunity to partake in the sport(s) of their choice.
- YMCA: Access staff will help clients apply for scholarships to receive membership to the FM Family YMCA. At the Y they can participate in a number of health-related fun activities. Access also has an agency membership card that can be checked out for use by our clients for one-time or occasional trips to the YMCA.
Access also has agency passes available to checkout to visit the Red River Zoo, Children's Museum at Yunker Farm events. In addition Access utilizes community resources to obtain tickets for community events such as FM Community Theatre productions, concerts, RedHawks games, and the Shrine Circus.
