Michael Czichotzki Learning Center (MCLC)

The Michael W. Czichotzki Learning Center (MCLC) is named in honor of Michael W. Czichotzki, a client of Access who passed away November 2007. He is dearly missed, but the impact he made on the lives of many will continue in The MCLC. Just as Michael made a positive impact on so many people, the MCLC was created with the hope to make a positive impact on others. It is used for many of the programs and services Access offers to all of our clients and is an ideal location for educational and recreational activities.

Michael was born November 12, 1971 in Fargo, ND to Mark and LaVerne (Wee) Czichotzki. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating in 1993. Since the age of 13, Michael received residential services from Access of the Red River Valley. Michael faced many challenges throughout his life and met them with the help and support of Access of the Red River Valley advocates and staff. He touched many lives and hearts and is dearly missed.

A memorial has been established in Michael's honor. Gifts and donations to The Michael W. Czichotzki Fund will be used towards the Michael W. Czichotzki Learning Center and all the services, activities and projects provided there.
