David Reed

Executive Director

David Reed is the current Executive Director for Access and began his role in 2022. He earned his Master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Kansas and has spent over 25 years working in the non-profit service based industry.

Prior to coming to Access, David spent the majority of his professional career at Boys Town, a national youth services organization based in Omaha Nebraska. During his time there, David had the opportunity to both develop and oversee a variety of programs and services for children and families. Those included residential group homes, emergency shelter, foster care services, home-based family services, care coordination services, home-based therapy, outpatient behavioral health, K-12 specialized educational services, and parent training services. A vital part of successful programming is the training and ongoing development of the staff delivering those services. David is well versed in the implementation science of delivering services with fidelity and with training and developing staff so they can enjoy a sense of purpose in contributing to a larger mission.

David and DeAnn Reed have been blessed with 35 years together and have four adult children and a daughter-in-law. Their children currently reside in California, Colorado, and New York and don’t see their parents nearly enough!
