Site Supervisor

Under the direction of a case manager, oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations of several community-based homes for individuals who have developmental, mental illness, and/or behavioral disabilities.

Education & Experience

Must have a two-year degree in the human services field (ex: social work, psychology, sociology, special education) plus one year of work experience with consumers with developmental disabilities or must have a High School Diploma/GED and three years full-time experience working with consumers with developmental disabilities. Employment is contingent upon providing agency evidence of degree in related area as well as clear background checks.

Evaluations

  • Compile information to complete Direct Care Professional (DCP) performance reviews.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess staff performance and facility conditions, ensuring they meet safety and accessibility standards.
  • Provide both written and verbal feedback to support staff development.
  • Comply with all agency policies regarding EEO/AA and HIPAA.

Supervisory & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule direct care staff, ensuring each site has adequate staffing and the use of overtime meets agency guidelines.
  • Supervising DCP’s, directing work, conducting performance reviews, training, developing, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving conflicts.
  • Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of site documentation, including client records, staff reports, and compliance-related paperwork.
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings.
  • Monitor client finances.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Program Responsibilities

  • Foster positive interactions with clients, direct care staff, and case managers.
  • Manage the ordering of client medications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess client care, program implementation, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Develop menus and organize grocery shopping.
  • Plan and oversee activities at the MCLC (MICHAEL CZICHOTZKI LEARNING CENTER).
  • Perform direct care services when unplanned situations arise.
  • Conduct daily reviews of schedules, missed punches, and T-Logs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Team

  • Support and actively participate in teamwork; collaborate with team members, direct care providers and case managers.
  • Communicate tactfully, appropriately, and professionally.
  • Follow up with case managers regarding concerns and complaints.
  • Promote positive relations among agency employees.
  • Relate effectively to individuals at various levels, demonstrating sensitivity to agency needs, employee goodwill, and public image.

Medical & Health Responsibilities

  • Transport clients to emergent or urgent medical appointments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

After Hours Responsibilities

  • Will be required to remain accessible outside of regular office hours to assist with issues pertaining to staffing, scheduling, and client emergencies.

Training Responsibilities

  • Complete required training annually.

Job Physical Descriptions

The Site Supervisor may be required to meet the following required physical demands of this position:

  • Position includes on-site client environments that vary from indoor to outdoor conditions depending on client needs and seasonal weather. Some sites are very quiet, and others are very loud. Shall meet the following required physical demands of this position: Stand, walk, run, climb stairs, sit, use hands and fingers, kneel and crouch. (Some transferring or lifting of clients may be required.) Close and distant vision is required.
  • Site Supervisor is required to provide evidence of a current driver’s license, current auto insurance, and the use of a running insured car.
